These two photographs were for an album cover for Black Poets. The hands shaking was for the back cover… the triumph of the poet. The front cover was the hands stretching for the light, the search of the poet for enlightenment, truth… so many times it was exciting to try and make a photograph that could give emotional meaning to the recorded work.
